Terms and identity travel with the quote
CURRENT USEThe logo, contact details, work-start conditions and payment terms are one embedded image. Payment generally follows completed and accepted work, with a supplier-prepayment exception for plants, turf and similar materials.

Keep the wording and exception. In Google Sheets, put project/address, revision date and reusable terms into a small Project tab. Keep the customer document styling outside the input table.

A flexible list, often incomplete
CURRENT USEPéter writes project-specific work descriptions and quantities. Items and quantities can change during the job. A quantity of 1 sometimes means a unit-price example, especially planting, rather than one confirmed plant.

Seven priced rows are outside the total
CURRENT USEThe seven rows have numeric labor unit prices but no E-column totals. Planting rows are unit-price guidance in the call. The intention for earthworks and mulch is not confirmed. Multiplying all seven would add 18,610 Ft incorrectly.

CURRENT USEThe existing formula totals are labor 191,000 Ft, transport 25,000 Ft and materials 158,500 Ft. This covers the populated included totals. It is not a complete price for every listed task.

Settlement happens in stages
CURRENT USEPéter records labor and material amounts at successive stages, then actual payments. The balance is settled/accrued amount minus paid amount. In July he says he collapses settlement when sending the initial quote. This file has no hidden columns.

An unexplained value outside the sums
CURRENT USEM5 contains 180,000 Ft, but every settlement sum starts at row 6. It does not affect the quote, amount paid or balance. The call mentions the same day rate, but that does not establish this cell’s meaning.

The first change should be clarity, not more typing.Start with explicit item status and safe formulas. Add extra fields only if they make the customer document or settlement more reliable.

- Are earthworks and mulch reference prices, optional work, or accidentally missing totals?
- What does the 180,000 Ft in M5 mean?
- Where does transport go in staged settlement?
- Which unit prices and internal details should the customer see?
- Should the output include a separate settlement document when needed?
- Which customer fields, VAT wording, validity and payment details are actually required?
Unknowns remain labelled. None of these decisions has been silently resolved in the source reproduction.

Evidence and limitsCurrent-use notes cite the full spoken transcript of 14 August 2026 and the prior 31 July discussion, plus the original workbook. Line references identify positions in the recovered transcript, not recording timestamps. Exact recording timestamps were unavailable. The attached workbook was matched byte for byte to the email attachment. The unexplained M5 value, net/gross status and some row-inclusion choices remain unconfirmed.
